Not everything can or needs to go to the laboratory. Scales are best calibrated where they are used, and a weighbridge is not going anywhere. Our technicians come to you with calibrated weights, their own transport and the right equipment, throughout the Netherlands and Belgium.
A scale in fact measures a force: the weight of the load under the influence of gravity. That gravity varies slightly from place to place. The floor, vibrations, air flow and temperature also affect the indication. A scale that has been calibrated in a laboratory and then moved may therefore weigh differently in its own location.
By calibrating on site, we measure the scale under the conditions in which it does its work. The certificate then tells you exactly what you want to know: how accurately this scale weighs here. Moreover, the scale does not have to be dismantled or transported, and it is available again immediately after calibration.

Read moreWe prefer to calibrate weights in our climate-controlled laboratory in Geldermalsen. With F- and M-class weights, we are talking milligrams to grams. Temperature, air flow and the measuring set-up must then be under control, and that is rarely achievable on a shop floor.
You need not send your weights yourself. During an on-site visit we take your check weights with us to the lab and bring them back calibrated. Heavy weights are collected with our own equipment. Read more under weight calibration.
You send us a list of the scales and weights: type, weighing range, readability and location. If you have several sites, we plan them in a logical route.
We put together the required weights and equipment and agree a date and time, geared to your production.
Our technician calibrates the scales, adjusts after consultation and re-verifies where necessary. Any deviations are discussed with you straight away.
The certificates are placed in your customer portal. There you can also see when the next calibration is scheduled.
We work from Geldermalsen, in the centre of the Netherlands, for customers throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. From laboratories in the Randstad to distribution centres in Brabant and production sites in Gelderland and Flanders. Do you have several scales at one site, or several sites in the same region? Then we combine the visit so that travel time counts as little as possible.
Would you like us to remember it for you automatically every year? With a maintenance contract we schedule the calibrations for you.

Make sure the scales are accessible, clean and switched on, and that someone who knows the scales is present. For weighbridges and floor scales, space is needed to place the weights.
